Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced clinicians. All clinicians are licensed professionals in the state of Texas, and certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. All maintain more than the required number of CEUs. Joan F. Furstenberg Au.D., CCC-A Joan Furstenberg is a native Houstonian, raised on the southeast side. She earned her master of arts (M.A.) degree in audiology at the University of Texas at Austin, her clinical doctorate from the A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, and has been a practicing audiologist at Medical Center Ear, Nose and Throat and Medical Center Hearing Aids since 1981. Dr. Furstenberg is currently the senior audiologist, and is responsible for both diagnostic evaluations and the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids.
